We have high ambitions for our proactive monitoring service ActiveCare and we are looking for a Product Specialist to join the team and help us raise this service to the next level.
Subscribed machines send data to Volvo CE. Volvo CE Uptime center monitors this data and predicts machine failures before they occur. The uptime center then informs the dealers about the appropriate actions to prevent unplanned downtime and minimize the repair costs of these machines.
ActiveCare was launched globally in 2020 and we now have a global process and one system support through Chain.
As Product Specialist you are responsible to identify, steer and follow up changes
In the service from a technical point of view. You analyse data and gather insights into your product area. You detail the product features and establish the business requirements.
You have a close collaboration with the Product Owner and the cross functional ActiveCare team to prioritize the listed developments and enhancements that we have in our roadmap.
You will also be part of the Uptime & Quality leadership team, who is supporting all our dealers with Technical Support, Product Maintenance. Uptime and quality also have the corporate
responsibility for quality within Volvo CE.
You will contribute with your competence and expertise, collaborate closely cross functionally in your network. Putting people in the driver seat by building a culture that motivates
people to be both self-driven and collaboration driven. Besides the operational responsibility, you are expected to question the status quo, look for continuous improvements in ways of working and inspire and motivate your peers.
Required competencies:
We prefer if you have a Bachelor of Science within Engineering. Good analytical skills are required as well as good communication skills and knowledge about engine systems.
Fluent in written and spoken English. Additional languages are a plus. You also need a good understanding of how construction machines are used by our customers and knowledge
about key components like engine systems, transmission, hydraulic and their diagnostics.
