We need to strengthen our finance department with a resource handling the accounting for our Swedish airline entity, West Atlantic Sweden AB. The candidate should have experience from working with similar tasks and being able to implement routines and processes to secure a good quality in the book close process. For the right candidate, the role offers plenty of insight to the operational side of the business. Furthermore, we think you are used to and motivated by working in a dynamic setting where you also have an open mind set to new tasks and challenges.
Main responsibilities:
• Daily accounting tasks
• Responsible for book close activities
• Coding of vendor invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• Customer invoicing and A/R collection
• Submitting VAT and tax declarations
Required profile and background:
• The preferred candidate should ideally have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with similar tasks.
• A university degree and proven accounting knowledge is required in the position.
• Experience from working with Microsoft Navision is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required as the group works in an international setting, both internally and externally.
Required personal attributes:
• We expect the candidate to be thorough and being able to structure and plan his/her own work efficiently.
• Used to delivering against set deadlines.
• Having a strong drive, being able to push for things when it is required in order to reach common goals.
• Displaying an interest in understanding the operational side of the business.
