The Account Manager manages the interface towards the customer, driving both customer relationship activities, as well as expanding the current business.
We are now looking for an Account Manager to be located in Gothenburg.
The Account Manager will report directly to the Manager Business Development Emballage.
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Manage and improve the customer interface
Drive and facilitate business improvements with the customer
Define and secure delivery upon customer needs
Secure and expand business with customers
Package and present new product offerings to customers
Drive and follow-up set customer savings targets and customer satisfaction targets
Lead, participate and support in strategic, tactical and operational customer meetings
Actively participate in account teams, when applicable
Work close together with the Global Business Operations Emballage
Lead and drive improvements of quality to reach set targets for service levels agreed in SLA's and contract
Travelling is required
Qualifications and experience:
University degree in Logistics or equivalent
Experience from an international business and working with Business Development
Experience from working with/within Volvo is a merit
Automotive and transport knowledge
Customer focused, motivated and determined to reach agreed objectives
Good leadership capabilities. Working as an OD-leader/ coach is considered a merit
Communication and interpersonal skills - an extrovert personality with a professional attitude.
Positive and proactive with courage & integrity
Excellent networking skills
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
Fluent in English both spoken and written. Additional languages are appreciated
Good knowledge of MS Office applications and computer literacy
