The purpose of the role the is to ensure that sub-unit Security Operations within Group Security fulfills its responsibilities in assigned areas such as incident handling, investigations & forensics by investigating complex security incidents globally, providing support and advice on demand and to provide the functional line Security Managers with adequate skills, tools, processes and methods in order to handle investigations.

The position is a Group Security Advisor role within the competence area of Investigations and Digital forensics, responsibilities can be:

• To provide daily security support and subject matter expertise to the global organization
• Support escalated security investigations and ensure proper coordination within and outside of the company
• Perform Investigations on prioritized and complex security incidents
• Develop training and education regarding investigative techniques and methods
• Assess, develop and distribute adequate tools related to investigations and forensics to the functional line Security Managers
• Ensure that procedures are in place and maintained in relation to key security service providers to safeguard efficient and rapid request handling applying due process and legal requirements
• Participate in Security Assessments performed by Group Security
• Identify 'best practices' within investigations and forensics and ensure that those are communicated to the functional line Security Managers
• Identify "lessons learned" derived from investigations with focus on security related improvement areas in steering documents, processes, methods, tools etc and that corresponding stakeholders are made aware of these
• Support the implementation of Ericsson Security Directives

Key competencies

The key professional qualifications required are:

• Formal Security training (certificate) or equivalent
• Formal investigative education and experience
• Formal IS/IT forensic education and experience
• Minimum three years of experience in Information and/or IT security and risk management.
