THE ROLE
You will be working with a long-term customer project for a global and industry-leading company, in-house at Plingots headquarter in Växjö. You will be using new 3D technology to solve complex problems, in projects which are pushing the boundaries in all directions. We like the challenge of building things no one has built before. Most of your work will take place in Växjö, but day trips to other places will occur very infrequently.
WHO YOU ARE
You have a passion for programming, with strong attention to detail in order to deliver high-quality code. You are a creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, and finding new innovative solutions makes you proud. You enjoy working in teams and value collaboration, but you are also able to work independently and deliver excellent results. You are self-going, responsible and have a natural way of communicating and collaborating with different people and teams.
Requirements
Strong C++ programming skills
Experience with JavaScript/React
Passion for using new 3D technology to solve complex problems
OpenGL and WebGL experience
Proficient user of git
You have professional proficiency in spoken and written English
Bonus points for experience with
Background or interest in gaming or game design, AR/VR, unity, and unreal
C++11, smartpointers, lambdas och multithreading
Knowledge within vektorgeometri
GLSL shader development
Crossplattform Linux och Windows
Cmake och Clang
Experience working with Emscripten and/or WebAssembly
