Radio Design is responsible for research, development and maintenance of radio unit in Ericsson Radio Base station products. One of our major challenges is to develop and deliver high volumes Radio hardware in short timeframes.
Next generation hardware supporting, all standard (GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, 4G LTE and TDD), with multi band architecture will be our next challenge.
Radio Design at Ericsson Lindholmen is a part of Ericsson?s global radio design organization. We are engaged in product development of Radio products within the mobile networks supplied by Ericsson in the global world of mobility.
As a Developer you will develop and maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions), including development activities like requirement analysis, design, integration, verification, configuration management, PLM support, product documentation.
We are searching for an experienced verification engineer with a deep interest in RF measurement methodology and improvement of the measurement performance.
Therefore, we are looking for you, a highly driven and motivated person who will be involved in RF verification in our Radio development. This means close cooperation with system design, other design areas and production.
Job description
The job is within the area of product development and includes areas as:
• Requirement analysis
• Estimation of verification scope
• Trouble shooting
• Design support
• Product configuration and integration
• Verification
• Analysis and documentation of results
You will work with highly skilled colleagues within different competence areas. You will interface with component engineers, digital design, radio system design and SW design. Co-operation with other design centers in Sweden, China and Canada is part of the daily work.
We use the latest automated verification tools in order to develop our world class products. We keep track of new technology, methodology and verification techniques, ensuring that radio design activities are kept at world class level.
You should be able to share your knowledge within the organization both as a mentor in the project during daily work and during teacher lead sessions.

Qualifications:
• You have experience and good knowledge of Radio, microwave and analog RF measurements.
• You are motivated, with the drive to solve problems, develop and expand your knowledge.
• You share the passion for success and leverage on the strength of the team in order to get there.
You should also have:
• MSc in Telecommunication, Electrical engineering or similar
• Excellent knowledge of Wireless Communication systems, incl. 3GPP, LTE and TDD
• More than 3 years of experience of RF verification.
• You have highly developed team working skills and ability to take initiative
• You are result-oriented, have good communication and cooperation skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English
