Software Developer - Business Communication Enabler

We need to strengthen our Feature Development Center with SW Developers for one of the IMS nodes, the Business Communication Enabler (BCE).

You will work in a cross functional team covering studies, implementation, documentation, verification and delivery using agile/lean way of working.

The work includes tasks such as:

• Performing pre-study work, including requirements and feature analysis and breakdown.
• Design SW for new features.
• Implementing automated test cases and executing tests
• Collaborate within and outside the team.
• Ask questions and challenge the way it has been done before. Have fun!

Qualifications:

You have a genuine passion for SW development and are interested in all aspects in the SW development area.

You are eager to constantly learn and share your new findings.

You are keen on solving problems as they arise and have a genuine technical interest in understanding the systems requirements and the end to end perspective.

You are a team player.

Required competences:

• Academic degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent
• Experience and skills in object oriented design
• Experience in software development, including design and test
• Good written and spoken English

Good to have:

• Experience of Linux/Unix development and target environment
• Experience of SW revision handling systems like Clearcase and GIT
PDU Converged Core operates within DU Core and IMS within BNET. The PDU is responsible for Converged Core Network Solutions and products including IMS.

The PDU has about a thousand employees and is a global organization. Main governance is in Sweden with operations in Sweden, Hungary, China and Canada.

The BCE organization is located in Kista.
