Your future challenge
Lead the production departments and ensure its effective and efficient running in full compliance with Edge Operations, Quality First and Manufacturing Excellence strategy as well as with HOS Lean principles while ensuring strict adherence to Health and Safety at all times.
As part of the Production Leadership Team, act as a change agent in order to make the factory as flexible and agile as possible to adapt to the changing environment.
Focus on increasing the performance and productivity of the factory while keeping the customer requirements at the forefront of all activities and ensure employee motivation is maintained at a high level.
Cooperation in project with other departments according to specified project definition.
Your role
Main responsibilities
• Lead the department activities so that existing and new products are manufactured on schedule, within quality standards and cost objectives for smooth delivery to customers
• In close cooperation with Logistics ensure appropriate capacity planning, material and control in the production
• In a self-active manner liaise with other managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the plants recourses in form of both labor, specialists and equipment is utilized in the best way in order for the factory to meet its targets
• Lead the way to developing ideas, improving and securing procedures and routines
• Ensure unfailing support to all Health & Safety initiatives and drive the appropriate behaviors so as to build and maintain a safe work place
• Drive production and X-functional Kaizen teams towards a continuous improvement in areas as total productive maintenance, operator performance, machine utilization, OEE, scrap deduction and secure work safety

Reporting Relationship: Plant Manager Husqvarna EDGE
Direct Reports: Team leaders & Operators
Who you are
Preferred qualifications
• Engineering degree or equivalent production experience in an industrial corporation
• People leader with strong coaching skills and influencing capabilities.
• Experience of leading and implementing Lean tools
• Full understanding & proven ability to enhance productivity to meet near & long term goals
• Ability to effectively operate, influence and communicate with employees
• Proven track record of change leadership with an emphasis on delivering results and improved performance
• Fluent written and spoken Swedish and English
