Main responsibilities
• You will jump start with IT support in our internal service desk, with a focus on clients or back-end depending on your profile, working with our systems and users for a while to learn our environment. Stepwise you will take on manager responsibilities.
• Maximizing services availability, performance and scalability together with our 3rd line project staff.
• Monitoring of services, gathering and monitor our main metrics to reach and maintain good service level. Configuration and adaption of our service desk tool to enable highest efficiency.
• Personnel responsibility for a team of 4 to 5 IT-experts from 1st to 2nd -line.
• If you have the profile and interest, cyber security on the edge is a core property of our services.

At Sectra, we hire people for who they are and for their willingness and ability to learn, rather than for their previous experience. We expect you to have a strong educational background and some years of experience from IT-support or maintenance/operations with a leader profile.
You must have an interest in process and organizational performance and improvements!

For this position, the following requirements apply:
• A strong will to help people and interact to find solutions even in stressful situations.
• Ability to build and strengthen a team of persons to align performance with the demands from our organization.
• A degree in IT engineering with excellent academic record.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.
• A solid experience from IT operations support and eager to learn more to grow in your position.
• You also need a Swedish citizenship due to regulatory demands.

In addition, we consider it an asset if you also:
• Have experience from ITIL or other process frameworks for IT-service.
• Stronger academic credentials than required above.
• Fluency in additional languages.
• Experience with other cultures.

Have other skills, such as:
• A pilot's license (we have many pilots at Sectra who fly to our customers or partners in our own airplane).
• Singing or playing musical instruments (we have a lively music tradition at Sectra).
• A background in sports.
