We are looking for a talented person that wants to join our Impact and Quality Assurance team!
The department is the owner of the global processes of impact and quality assurance which includes grant management, method and capacity development and learning, as well as programme development. The responsibility to ensure efficient, effective, uniformed and globally aligned working processes and procedures rests with the department, as well as the compliance with donor requirements and agreements. The relationship with Sida Civsam is maintained by the department.
Position description for Quality and Compliance Officer
Areas of responsibility
• Ensure quality and coherence in assessments of applications and reports according to Forum Syd's sub-granting framework.
• Introduce, train and coach sub-granting officers in Forum Syd's framework for grant management including the usage of Dira.
• System owner of Forum Syd's Portfolio administration system (Dira) and ensure its efficiency, user-friendliness and relevance.
• Facilitate internal learning and communities of practice regarding assessment quality.
• Plan, coordinate and commission evaluations and studies within thematic areas and development perspectives.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Forum Syd's Theory of Change and Result Model.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, guidelines and tools related to Forum Syd's prioritised areas and development perspectives.
• Represent Forum Syd in relevant networks and meetings.
• Provide assistance and advice to colleagues within areas of responsibility.
• Project management of internal development projects as needed.
• Contribute to the organisational learning and development of Forum Syd in general, and of the department/hub in particular.
• Contribute to a constructive and good work environment in Forum Syd in general, and in the department/hub in particular.
• Other tasks related to the work in the department/hub and delegated by line manager.
