Volvo Group Real Estate is an integrated function in the Volvo Group, with strategic and operational responsibility for the Group's properties and real estate assets as well as for facility management. We are responsible for the entire property lifecycle, from acquisition to divestment. We optimize the use and value of the Volvo Group's facilities, owned and leased. We act as a center of expertise, generating economies of skill and scale in the real estate area. We are approximately 350 employees supporting Volvo Group in 60 countries worldwide. Our property footprint consists of some 1000 sites, both leased and owned. We manage all types of properties: dealers, workshops, offices, warehouses, production facilities and more.
In Gothenburg, Volvo Group Real Estate is leading the Campus Lundby program, creating a unique center for development of transport solutions. Campus Lundby will be characterized by openness and room for internal as well as external partnerships, and thereby take an active part in the development of the City of Gothenburg.

So, what is it that you will focus on?
You will lead our property portfolio and facility management function in Sweden. Within the job you both have a daily operational delivery that requires a daily pulse in leading the organization and a tactical dialogue with BA/TD/GF for setting plans and act on feedback. With our new target image for Real Estate, you will set the roadmap with actions to achieve results and service satisfaction. The new way of working will encourage you to be out in the organization for Gembas to fully understand how work works and to coach and support people. To engage and motivate your team, will be important skills in your personality and experience.

Furthermore, securing that your team follow implemented processes and that maintenance and cost savings plans are in place. We run a large number of real estate projects every year, together with your team you are responsible for driving and securing the quality of the projects. You have the responsibility for cost control, reporting and budgeting for your function.

To be able to deliver in this position we think you should have some previous experiences...
We are searching for a person with a longer experience of senior management positions; maybe you also have experience from the Real Estate area. You should have experience from working on the international business arena within a global company or network. Previous experience from "Lean" or Volvo Production System (VPS) is important.

You have a Master of Science/MBA or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Since we work in a global environment it is important to have a highly fluent knowledge of English language both written and oral.
