The Powder Solutions division is a world-leading provider of tungsten products used in the manufacturing of high-tech tools and metal powder for manufacturing technologies such as Metal Injection Molding and 3D printing. We serve a wide customer base spanning industries including automotive, aerospace, energy, infrastructure, electronics, and mining. With unique expertise and extensive experience, coupled with a strong focus on sustainability, we're well-equipped to further strengthen our current position and foster the growth of our business.
The job
In this position you provide strategic and operative communication planning and actions to our business and organization - creating a good understanding of our business direction, priorities, objectives, vision, and core values. You create structure and goals for the department by setting the agenda, business strategy and developing our marketing and communication. To improve our competitive position, you develop and implement a marketing strategy, including product positioning and market penetration - and in line with our division's overall mission, vision, and objectives. You manage the brand portfolio of Powder Solutions according to our guidelines, enabling a clear brand architecture and positioning. Developing and implementing branding and communication concepts is also part of your job, to create a consistent appearance and strengthen the corporate identity.
You establish relations and collaborations with relevant stakeholders to effectively form a strong network and steer it to reach common goals. By actively promoting communication and information exchange to other departments, you continuously promote our brands and take initiative to suggest opportunities for improvements.
You report to the President of the Powder Solutions division and are an active member of the divisional management team as well as the SMS functional management teams. The preferred location for this position is Austria, Sweden, or the UK. Some travel will occur, both within Europe and internationally.
Your profile
We're looking for a senior leader with a university degree or adequate experience within communications and marketing. You have a few years' professional experience of management positions within the field - preferably from relevant industries and company structures. You're a marketing expert with experience in brand building, copywriting, and storytelling. With experience in strategic corporate communication, you're able to communicate complex messages in a clear and easily comprehendible way. Working in a truly global environment calls for proficiency in English, in both written and verbal form. Knowledge of German or Swedish is highly valued.
