The grades and classes you may cover will be grades 4-9 in English, Swedish, Science, Civics, Crafts, P.E etc. You will always be provided with a lesson plan from the subject teacher, so no past experience in the subjects are needed. Your most important job in the classroom will be classroom management to make sure the students can continue their work in a calm and safe environment.
We are looking for substitutes to work at an hourly rate covering short term teacher absences when needed. The position is non contractual and work can be offered sporadically and at short notice.
We are looking for candidates who:
• Are reliable, flexible and able to work at short notice.
• Are able to follow and execute lesson plans set by the class teacher.
• Have previous experience and/or are qualified to work with children.
• Have excellent English language skills and preferably also proficient in Swedish.
• Are confident and enthusiastic and able to show their own initiative.
Internationella Engelska Skolan Liljeholmen opened in August 2014 for grades 4 - 9. IES Liljeholmen is a school which follows the IES ethos, where high academic expectations are met, students command the English language through quality teaching and a calm and safe learning environment with a supportive tough love approach. We have staff from all over the world, bringing interesting knowledge and experience into the school.The school is located a short 5min walk from Telefonplan station to Tellusborgsvägen 83-87, Hägersten.

Varaktighet, arbetstid
The positions are paid by the hour. Requirement to work in our school is that you can hand in a valid Police Clearance specified for schools and care of children.
