About the position
The role as Vice President Uptime and Parts Services & Logistics, Sales Europe is a combination of two major assignments.
In the role of "Center of Expertise" for parts services & logistics you will collaborate closely with all 7 regions, UPP technology and other stakeholders. The role include responsibility for developing parts business and coordinating the Volvo CE parts services & logistic offering. In this role your will lead Volvo CE parts marketing, parts offer portfolio management, pricing strategy and parts logistics. This assignment also involves being chairman for parts services & logistic PEG.
Secondly the role includes responsibility for uptime and parts services & logistics activities in Sales Europe and in selected responsibility areas for Sales International. In this role you contribute as a valuable competence into Center of Expertise network for uptime globally.
In both roles you lead development activities in a collaborative way, with high level of business acumen, holistic view and continuous improvement approach.

You will report to our SVP Sales Europe and be a part or the regional management team.
You will lead a management team of sub functions. This position is part of a new regional structure and we are also looking for your colleagues for other commercial market areas and functions. In total we will be a regional team of around 15 colleagues working together in close collaboration with other Volvo CE functions.

What will you do?
Responsibility for Center of Expertise activities for parts services & logistics offerings, performance and plans
Drive optimization and development of parts services global business, cross functional through the 7 regions in dialogue and cooperation with Technology and Process/IT functions
Set the direction for delivery of overall strategy and plans
Establish standards and common way of working, driving customer satisfaction and efficiency
Benchmark and share best practice
Build competence in area of parts services & logistics and act as advisor for competence development and talent sourcing
Lead the PEG for parts services & logistics
Represent Volvo CE in contacts with Service Market Logistics (SML)
Lead uptime and parts services & logistics activities in Sales Europe, and in selected responsibility areas for Sales International

We expect that you have:
University degree or appropriate academic qualification
Minimum 7-10 years from a senior leadership commercial role within transport solution/construction industry
In-depth knowledge of capital equipment industry - market trends, financial indicators, equipment financing, competitor products and strategies, customer segments and customer support criterion, dealer business model operations
Extensive experience from Parts business
Senior global leadership experience in multi-cultural environment and in a matrix structure
Solid experience in strategy development and execution
Ability to build cross functional teams, cope with organizational agility and drive continuous improvement skills
Willingness to travel internationally on frequent basis
