Right now, you have an extraordinary opportunity to join a people company in the machining industry, by stepping into an exciting position where you significantly contribute to build our workplace culture and company success. For Seco Tools, we're looking for an accessible and visionary Vice President and Head of HR. Someone who shares our family spirit and passion for business, and who wants to create a future direction where people aspects truly stand out!

Leading the Seco HR community means working in a global, dynamic and innovative arena. We're spread across 75 different countries and you get to connect with brilliant minds as you inspire development, support growth, lift our performances and celebrate our people!

About the job
Joining us in this position, you're a central partner to our President and an active member of our management team. You lead HR with a strategic outlook and make sure we have a clear roadmap and broad understanding of how to establish operational excellence and build competence for the future. Adapting to shifting market conditions, contributing in exciting change projects and amplifying quality of leadership are focus areas - and not to forget the importance of enhancing employee engagement. You're also responsible for a wide range of HR activities and processes such as diversity and inclusion, people development, talent acquisition and succession planning. By guiding us in the complete HR delivery you develop and implement a people strategy closely linked to our business needs.

Acting in a global environment with many exciting encounters across both cultures and borders, you need to be the number one promoter of excellent collaborations. You develop networks and establish partnerships - both internally and with relevant industries and universities - and you constantly touch base with the wider organization to ensure synergies and share knowledge. We're a people oriented, open minded and modern business, where flexible working conditions and work life balance are very important. Always keeping this in mind and living our company values, you're a brave and inspiring leader for our HR community and you create an enthusiastic, sustainable and forward-thinking culture where freedom and responsibilities goes hand in hand.

In this role, you could have your base at any of our European sites, although you do need to spend part of your time at our headquarters in Fagersta, Sweden.

About you
Your background includes a relevant academic degree, combined with broad experiences from the field of HR. You understand the manufacturing industry and you're used to a dynamic business setting with a variety of different roles. On top of this, you really embrace the challenges and opportunities of HR connected to global operations. Previously working with people strategies is needed, and you're skilled in building teams, developing individuals and setting ways of working. Additionally, you have the tools and know-how for successful change management, HR projects and implementation of new initiatives. As we're a global player, you naturally need advanced skills in English.

Yes, your background is important, but we're equally passionate about your personality. You're a good listener, a committed doer and an exceptional communicator - someone who easily interacts, builds trust and always leave a positive impact. You show the way, deliver results and encourage improvements. Acting as a role model in relation to people management is in your DNA, and you take pride in bringing an inclusive perspective where differences are both considered and valued. All in all, you inspire us to be an employer of choice!
