Your mission
As Vice President and Head of Human Resources, you're a valued member of our management teams for Sandvik Machining Solutions and Sandvik Group Global HR. You lead the HR community with a strategic outlook and make sure we have a clear roadmap and broad understanding of how to establish operational excellence and build competence for the future. Mitigating market volatility, challenging change projects and amplified quality of leadership are solid focus areas in this position - and not to forget the importance of employee development.
A vital part of your role is managing the many different stakeholders and balancing the complexity of our global and decentralized organization. This takes both structure and deep engagement as you navigate across and collaborate with all our divisions and HR support functions in developing a business that is adapted for shifting markets, increased productivity and high profitability.
Your home office is in Stockholm or Sandviken, and international travel is included in your job. You report directly to the President of Sandvik Machining Solutions.
Your background and character
You have senior leadership experience and an extensive background from driving the strategic HR agenda in a global and intercompany setting - meaning you're skilled at managing cultural differences and cross-functional collaborations. You have a true eye for business and your career includes successful organizational development, experience from management teams and strong stakeholder interactions. You're also well acquainted with HR technology platforms and have an interest in understanding how we can evolve in the digital arena. As we're a global player, you naturally need advanced communication skills in English.
Through your empowering, clear and accessible leadership, you create a collaborative environment where diversity and inclusion are both considered and valued. You're committed in reaching your targets, and you join forces with relevant stakeholders to make a positive impact. Your inspiring ways easily lead others to follow your footsteps and being supported by a confident mind and strong integrity, you set a clear direction for HR.
