AVTECH is a small publicly listed company, with a casual work environment, expecting growth in the coming few years. Our aviation product development team is currently growing and we are looking for talented Software Engineers to help us design, build and support our suite of operational tools for aviation. We are currently hiring both junior and more experienced developers.
As a software developer at AVTECH you are working in a friendly and result-oriented team in an office with a great view from the 24th floor in Kista Science Tower.
The ideal candidate for this role is smart, driven and has a strong background and genuine interest in software design as well as a familiarity with the end-to-end process of developing and delivering software. He/She has a keen interest in delivering quality both when it comes to coding and the development process.
A degree in a relevant field (MSc or equivalent) is required plus experience in design and development of software in both Linux and Windows environments.
Candidates should enjoy working in a team and be able to solve tasks under their own direction and initiative.
Good communication skills in english are required and skills in swedish will be highly valued.
Basic Requirements:
MSc degree or equivalent
Experience with Python, C/C++, Java/C# coding languages
Experience with software development in Linux (Ubuntu/RedHat) environment
Ability to work in a team and to solve tasks under your own direction and initiative
English speaking and writing skills
Interest in the aviation industry
Valuable Skills and Experience:
Linux environment (Ubuntu/RedHat) configuration and scripting in bash etc.
Distributed computing, Queue systems (MQ) and Web Services
Worked with MongoDB database and/or PostgreSQL
Used to a Git version control system workflow
Swedish speaking and writing skills
