The role
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the user-centered design research within the Product Area: Customer Segments. The Product area consists of four product teams with established missions contributing to increased customer satisfaction and lifetime within the customer segments and sports area. You are expected to run all sorts of user research to help drive both long and short-term product decisions. You will work closely with a Product Analyst to combine quant & qual data into actionable insights.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Plan and conduct user experience research throughout the design process, from generative to evaluative studies
Analyse and synthesise research results to generate insights that influence the development of our products and services
Communicate customer insights to teams and stakeholders through the best suitable format, such as personas, customer journeys, workshops, and reports
Inspire and coach cross-functional teams in conducting their own research
Utilize both data-driven and user-driven insights to drive product decisions
Facilitate user research across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, web, and big screens
Work closely with development teams, Product Managers, Researchers, Product Analysts, and Designers to maximize customer value and enhance research operations
What we're looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that's why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you'll have at least some experience in the following:
You have solid experience working with mixed methods, are passionate about customers' needs, and have a strong understanding of the product development process and the value of working in a data- and insight-driven manner
We believe you have a wide toolkit of qualitative research methods that you can decisively apply depending on the problem space at hand
Previous experience working together with cross-functional product teams and understanding the iterative processes to continuously improve the experience for users
Experience with leading user research projects for products on multiple platforms, and with a good understanding of best practices and UX guidelines (such as iOS, Android, web, and big screens)
You are a great communicator who can advocate for users and their needs within the organization. You are self-organized and proactive as a person and don't mind finding ways to reach your goals
Has an educational background in psychology, anthropology, sociology, human-computer interaction, or a deep experience in conducting user research in product organizations
