Alfa Laval's Distribution Centre (DC) in Lund supply components to heat exchangers within a defined range, at the right quality to a competitive price and according to agreed deadlines and deliveries. We are a process oriented organization with a global focus and local presence. We work in line with Alfa Laval Production System (ALPS) following the four priorities Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.As a Unit Manager you will be part of DC Lunds management team and lead a team of 2. You will be responsible for the quality team and drive total quality management in our supply chain. You will have a cross functional responsibility for following up, analyzing and driving the Problem Resolution Process for Claims and proactive quality actions. You will recommend and follow up on actions to improve product and process quality.Part of the role is to be the local ALPS Driver (Lean driver.) The purpose is to be first line support for ALPS as well as to support and challenge ways of working on a local level. You will also be the link to ALPS central team.What you knowThe ideal candidate has a Master of Engineering or equivalent experience and at least 5 years of experience from global production/manufacturing company.
