What we are looking for
For our Swedish locations, we are now looking for an Innovation Project Manager who wants to work with us!
You will be part of an international team that consists of 30+ Innovation Managers (first one for Sweden). We are an open minded, friendly, outgoing and caring team with high empathy for one another and our other coworkers within Uniper. Our responsibility is to drive the innovation agenda for Uniper, meaning the development of new business models for the group towards concepts and projects in the area of new energy (assets, trading and digital). Amongst others we develop pioneer industry-scale projects in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and e-Methanol. You will be reporting to the central team, which is located in Düsseldorf, Germany, coordinating all project development activities in Uniper group. The position involves some traveling within Sweden and occasionally to Germany.
What will you work with?
• Developing innovative and scalable low-carbon new business options for Uniper in so-called renewable liquids (SAF, Methanol) based on bio-feedstock and/or renewable power.
• Leading business development activities of pilot, demonstration and deployment projects in Power-to-X or Biomass-to-X
• Results and performance oriented multidisciplinary profile able to work on projects with focus on business value creation and customer demand
• Identification and management of strategic cooperation partners
• Proactive and continuous development of Uniper's Innovation strategy
• Interface to other Uniper functions on all management levels, e.g. Sales, Trading, Engineering, Asset Management, Market Analytics, Strategy, Asset Operations
• Represent innovation activities internally and externally
• Be an ambassador for innovation and change

Who we are seeking
To succeed in this role we believe that you have a relevant University degree (business administration, economics, engineering, or other STEM fields) and several years of work experience. Management skills as well as professional experience is essential, ideally in innovation, business development or project management in the energy, refining, forestry, pulp or chemical sector or related. Ideally, you have gained experience project development (e.g. front-end-loading, creating bankability) in fields like Hydrogen, Power-to-Liquids, -Chemicals or in biomass pre-treatment / processing technologies with a good understanding of their technological, regulatory and economic environment.
As a person you have good leadership skills and high engagement when it comes to developing and managing people. You can easily see the bigger picture, are driven and make things happen. In addition, you are a good communicator and have the ability to cooperate and communicate with different types of people. We will pay attention to your personal capabilities such as ability to create structure, analytical skills and ability to cooperate. Excellent language skills in Swedish and English are essential. You are fluent in both, written as well as spoken.
