Role Summary:
As a Transport Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of our transportation operations, ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective deliveries. You'll lead a team, manage budgets, and collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, direct, and coordinate transportation operations for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Manage driver schedules, routes, and vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with transportation laws, safety standards, and company policies.
• Monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to optimize logistics solutions.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of drivers and logistics personnel.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and improve cost efficiencies.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in transport management, logistics, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations and fleet management.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
