(People Experience)
Purpose
Total Reward is about developing meaningful total rewards practices to attract, retain and engage SKF workforce driving the right behaviors in a rapidly changing environment. SKF operates in increasingly competitive environment, requiring us more and more creativity and innovation to face the new business challenges. We want to work on simplification and step-by-step improvements, experimenting new ways of rewarding in order to foster a culture of equitable and timely pay decisions and effective recognition programs. The position
The Total Reward Expert is a key position in the Total Reward and Global Mobility Department, which contributes to the further development of competitive and effective global compensation, benefits and recognition practices and Group policies in cooperation with the colleagues of the team as well as the People Experience organization and the business.
Together with the rest of the team you work to ensure that the programs offered to our employees are market competitive and aligned with both internal and external stakeholder interests. As expert you are responsible to support the colleagues in the other People experience functions, managers and employees in the area of Rewarding, always backing your opinions with data, and to ensure that our processes and practices comply with local law, regulation and union agreements.
Your day-to-day work
• Design, implement and reviews policies and guidelines following trends and changes in the market and in the legislation in order to make recommendations that are fit for the organization
• Develop and drive the main rewarding processes, either the yearly salary setting process for employees globally and the yearly variable pay programs, coordinating their execution throughout the organization
• Coordinates, give guidance and approves the setting of the general compensation budget, monitoring its respect in order not to exceed it.
• Organize regular training sessions for the colleagues working in other People Experience functions and constantly work on increasing the awareness of the rewarding agenda in the organization
• Conduct or participate in internal and external benchmarking (market survey, inter-group benchmarking activities, etc..) to monitor the company's compensation packages and to track the latest market trends
• Increasingly uses reward analytics, as a base for having a "fact-based" overview on internal trends, and as a means for advising and giving support to all internal stakeholders on rewarding topics
We expect you to have/be
• Good knowledge about global rewarding, IT systems and HR-processes with at least 5 years' experience working in a similar department.
• Experience from implementing a people master data system is a qualification, together with broader experience in how this kind of system works.
• Excellent communication skills & fluency in English.
• Experience from working with SuccessFactors or similar system
• Understanding and experience of IPE (International Positioning Evaluation)
