About us
As part of our mission to enable the freedom to move in a personal, sustainable and safe way we are now launching our first Battery Electric Vehicle, the XC40 P8 Recharge. It is powered by an in-house designed battery developed by our great battery team in Gothenburg. To follow this, we are now working on a new electric vehicle platform and several exiting products that all will be powered by Batteries designed and developed in-house. With these new products Volvo Cars aims to be leading in electrification and, in 2025, every 2nd Volvo sold shall be a battery electric vehicle. To deliver on this aim we will deepen our involvement in all aspects of battery development.
What you will do

Some travelling to external test sites for support and fault tracing will occur.
You and your skills
