Do you have a few years of experience as a test engineer and has a great interest in vehicles? Maybe you have also worked with testing/development - then this may be the assignment for you! We at Jefferson Wells are looking for a Testing engineer for our global client within the automotive

Start: Asap

Assignment: Consultant assignment full time, you will be employed by us and work at the client.

Duration: The consultant assignment is until October

Role Description:

The test engineer will lead different types of engine/components tests in collaboration with test operator. You will also be responsible for making a testplan to see what kind of tests needs to be done on different machine. Also a timeframe for when the tests need to be done, with input from projects and other stakeholder.

* Prepare and execute the test with secured measurement quality.
* Analyze and optimize results by mathematical methods/models and give recommendations to responsible in respective technology area.
* Document results and compile an engineering report.
* Prepare and manage fault reports from tests. Involvement in defining solutions is mandatory.
* Continuously update test methods and propose updates of technical requirement together with the technology areas, well known as well as new.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a person with a positive attitude and ability to interact and cooperate effectively. Someone who has a drive to deliver results and who is interested in improving work methods will be greatly valued. Personal interest in combustion engines and experience of mechanic work is valued.

* Bachelor of Science or higher education
* Education or experience of engine and exhaust aftertreatment systems is valuated.
* Experience of measuring systems is an advantage.
* Fluent in English, written and spoken.
