In Linköping, we're developing our camera systems. As a site, our responsibilities range from electronics and optics to software and vehicle testing. All vision development teams are working cross-functionally based on agile principles.
What You 'll Do
As an Optics Test Engineer, you will work in our team for Design & Product Verification. The team plans and executes tests of our vision systems during different project phases to verify design and the final product.
Together with your team members, you will be responsible for optic test development for the Veoneer camera and vision systems. This includes requirement analysis and realization of the test environment, where your optical skills are needed and used.
In your role, you will have a broad contact area with colleagues within different disciplines and especially with the vision experts in the development teams. You will be part of a tight team where everyone helps each other and contributes to the daily work in ongoing projects.
You will also execute vision tests, that includes test preparations, daily handling of the tests, follow up and result analysis.

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have:
• Good skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience from HW test, (vision systems is meritorious)
• Good knowledge in MATLAB, preferably including Image Processing Toolbox
• Skills in instrument and measurement technology
Education
• Master degree within Engineering, including optics or equivalent experience
