Right now, we need a talented individual with the right attitude and experience to join our development team in Linköping, Sweden. We are looking for an excellent writer with a technical background, preferably with experience from software production environment and publishing in different formats.

Your profile:

We expect you to be well-educated, smart, and professional but also to have a sense of humor when that is appropriate (life is too short not to have fun). At Sectra we hire you more for who you are and how fast you will learn, than for your previous experience. If you are the right person, and a fast learner, we provide the training to get you up to speed.
For this position we have the following requirements:
• Bachelor or Master of Science, with an excellent academic record.
• You should be a natural talent in language and communication, with a gut feeling for good writing, and a strong drive to produce clear and legible text, primarily in English and Swedish.
• You should have experience from writing user documentation for software systems. You should be familiar with different formats including HTML and XML.
• Highly motivated, team-oriented personality with a quality focus and strong will to continuously improve your competence.
• Experience from, or a deep interest in, the clinical use of software applications in the healthcare domain.
• Specialist competence in layout, DocBook XML and Macromedia Flash will be very a strong advantage.

• To attend our software projects and be responsible for production of relevant parts of user documentation, deployment and/or system administration documentation.
• To work with training material, both for on-line publishing and for support in training sessions.
• Being responsible for our Docbook-based documentation environment and our documentation structure.
Depending on your profile, the position can also include working with other parts of our development process, including Configuration Management and Branding/Translation.
