Technical Services team
The Technical Services team is responsible for the support in for Europe, Middle East, and Africa. All functions are located in Lund, Sweden and we're currently a team of around 50 people.

Together with your coworkers, you will be considered a key asset in moving Axis towards the goal of being number one in their industry and giving the customers the best service.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
As a Technical Services Engineer you will be in contact with both end users and Axis partners to handle technical support cases regarding our product, network cameras.

You and your team's main objective will be to support our customers and partners in middle East & Africa in English mainly but also in Turkish. This means that you will work in a multinational team with a wide language capability matching the customer's needs.

You will work through chat, phone, e-mail and a web portal to support your customers and it's important that you are comfortable with all of these ways of communicating.

Your will be part of a bigger team supporting Europe & Russia and a part of the job is to support each other. This means that you will be expected to take calls from other regions from time to time, answering in English.

Your main tasks will be to:

* Provide advanced support through our phone system, our Web portal system, and our chat system to end-users, resellers/partners, and distributors
* Work with a case driven system where you have the final responsibility towards the customer for concluding and closing your cases
* At a professional communication level, maintain a good dialogue with the customer throughout the resolution of a support case
* Assist primarily the sales office in your region, with both after sales and pre-sales support
* Build technical knowledge and contribute to developing the support function within the team.

At your disposal you will have senior technical services engineers, a team of product specialists, and all your other technical services colleagues providing you with product specific assistance and general help in the role. The position involves a few travels a year within Europe.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Customer care is one of our biggest focuses at Axis, besides having a technical foundation and capability it's therefor of the highest importance that you are very service minded and is always thinking about the customer experience.

We also think you are an excellent communicator with high pedagogical skills. The ability to explain complex technical problems in an easy way is of high importance for your success in the role.

You are proactive and self-motivated and you like to solve problems and coming up with solutions.

You love technology and can't get enough of it, you like to learn new things and are eager to learn more about Axis products and technology.

Required skills and experience:

* 3+ years of experience in IT with an emphasis on customer support
* Fluent in Turkish, written and spoken
* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
* Excellent time management, decision making and organization skills
* Strong technical troubleshooting skills
* Strong knowledge of networking
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS
* Must be able to work well with others as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
