As our quest to democratise financial services continues at blazing speed, the Connect team is now looking for an inspiring and hands on Tech Lead with a great deal of experience in Agile environments.
A glimpse of what you will get here
With a high focus on building and improving the Zettle by PayPal partner ecosystem, you will be part of shaping and supporting our area of partner integrations. You will be working in an area with the purpose to help our merchants and partners succeed with quality integrations to the Zettle by PayPal platform.
Today, the team you will be joining is responsible for our accounting integrations that we build together with our middleware partners. The team builds and maintains the backend service of the integrations, as well as the user interfaces in the Zettle Back-Office. The team is also responsible for improving the frontend and backend flows and user experience to make our integration offering even better.
A glimpse of how you will make an impact here
As a Tech Lead, your main responsibility will be to ensure the technical roadmap aligns with the product roadmap as well as technical quality of the Zettle Accounting Integrations and tech stack the team is responsible for.
In this position you will play a fundamental role in guiding and helping your team with the technical direction short term and long term.
In this spirit, you will notably:
Be a technical partner to the non-technical staff in the team such as PM and design.
Be a technical partner to our middle partners as well as other stakeholders inside and outside the organization.
Collaborating with the other tech Leads in the Connect Partners Area when required.
Have end-to-end system ownership for your teams domain(with architecture and technical direction) (FE, BE).
Ensure technical alignment with the teams roadmap.
Ensure overall quality and help team set non-functional requirements.
Practice and encourage knowledge sharing, innovation, best practices, and continuous learning.
Work with security, compliance and legal requirements from a tech perspective.
Build software together with the teams, coding being a part of your role.
The skills to succeed
Solid experience in software development and expertise in working with modern development tools.
Being a good communicator of technical information in a clear and understandable way as well as having strong collaboration skills.
Comfortable with leading and driving architectural decisions.
Experience working within a full-stack environment is an advantage.
Comfortable working with infrastructure (preferably AWS) is an advantage.
Interested in deep diving into the domains of Accounting.
