Your future challenge
To further control and improve our planning processes, we search a tactical planning specialist in Iggesund Sweden.
You will be part of the central planning team 'Market Planning' spread over two locations: Iggesund, Sweden (2 FTE, including you) and Amsterdam, The Netherlands (4 FTE, including manager). The team is part of the Sales organization and links market demand with production planning.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Translating the sales plan into a practical and detailed production plan for production planning.
• Collaborating with central and local planning teams to follow and optimize the production plans.
• Communicating with local mill planning on the output of the machines, planned production, current order flow and batch sizes.
• Coordinating a knowledge exchange forum for planning departments.
• Expertise on the usage, setup, and improvement of the tactical planning systems.
• Expertise on the connection between systems, from a business perspective (Order entry - Order planning - Tactical planning - Reporting)
• Supporting colleagues in Market Planning on operational tasks.
To succeed in this role
We are looking for a pragmatic, action-oriented person who works in a structured way and is confident in taking discussions. You should have a system-analytical focus to be the sparring partner and back-up on the tactical planning systems.
Furthermore you:
• Have minimum three-year experience in planning, including responsibility for system setup
• Have bachelor level in reasoning
• Are comfortable using Excel for data analysis and data validation. Data presentation skills are a pre.
• Are proficient in English, both verbal and written. Swedish language skills are an advantage
• Can communicate on different levels, with various sorts of people
• Are willing to travel on occasion (4t/y)
• Have no concerns working independently, often in contact with remote colleagues (online)
