In our team, you'll be working alongside with e.g. our system design engineers and node owners to help verify the quality of the new services we want to provide our customers regarding telematics and infotainment. Our team currently consists of 20 engineers with different professional backgrounds, interests and history but with one common mindset: To develop our products and ourselves! In our global responsibility, we cooperate with our sites in Poland, Mexico and Brazil, as well as with our Volvo-owned brands Prevost and Nova in North America. Main area of responsibility:
As System Verification Engineer, Telematics and Infotainment within in the Electrical and Software Architecture Department you will collaborate with engineers from Volvo Trucks GTT and helps us find new ways of meeting bus drivers need of services, perhaps more than products. You will be working with ensuring the quality needed for example for Zoon management and I-Coaching to contribute to safer roads and more sustainable transportation for our next generation.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Develop, write, preform and report test cases based on the requirements on system and vehicle level
Identify and drive the need for new tools and methods and update of existing rigs
Securing quality and readiness before release

Becoming part of our team is easy. You just need to be a skilled team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills and to be genuinely interested in product development.
BSc or MSc degree in electrical/software engineering or equivalent is highly valuable as well as previous experience of system Verification within Infotainment, Vehicle Telematics and Connectivity. Previous experience and/or network from GTT are considered as meritorious.
Since you have good engineering judgment and priorities, you have the ability and interest to technically support and challenge colleagues in their work and their mindset. You like to share your passion for technical solutions and you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As a person you are positive, you display drive, have a structured way of working and are eager to learn new skills and are driven by self-development.
