Responsibilities as the System & Integration Architect
As the System & Integration Architect you will have a key position in the Business Applications team. You will act as the technical system & integration expert to provide recommendations and design proposals for development design, system architecture and system interfaces. You are the one responsible for identifying and incorporating technical requirements needed to fulfill functional requirements of new demands, in alignment with the long-term system architecture plan. You will collaborate closely with other members of the IT team, internal stakeholders and external suppliers for technical requirements engineering, solution architecture, evaluation of design proposals and actively participating in the implementation of new system solutions.
As part of the system lifecycle management, you will act as the owner and caretaker of the Business Applications architecture documentation, solution & technical roadmaps as well as ensuring the on-going architectural governance of the ERP- and related system environments.
SKF Motion Technologies is operating in a system environment with growing integration complexity, where you will take the lead in managing the integration portfolio, consisting of both internal system-to-system communication or EDI transactions with external parties. This requires among other things, the implementation and maintenance of interface standards formats and coordinating with external parties and integration service providers.
You will also be an important resource in ensuring that the technical infrastructure used to operate our Business Applications by external sourcing partners and cloud providers is fully aligned with functional requirements and the demands of the organisation for availability and performance.
Do you recognize yourself in the below competences and skills?
• Senior experience in system architecture/design of business system solutions, primarily for ERP ecosystems (Infor M3, BI, CRM, eCom etc.) and related system integrations including EDI
• Experience from working in similar position or in roles such as Technical ERP or Application specialist Consultant and/or Software Developer
• More than 7 years' work experience, including 5 years of ERP solution design/delivery experience
• Strong expertise in functional/business & technical aspects bringing perspectives from all architecture domains into the system solution & integration design
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure & Cloud-operations
• Master/Bachelor's degree in Computer science (or equivalent)

You have the ability to work on multiple assignments, but keeping the right focus, and at the same time strive to simplify and standardize work procedures to raise the organizations competence. This position will be located in Göteborg (Sweden). Occasional travel over multiple continents is to be expected. Our organization communicates in English, but other language skills is a strong plus.
