Main Responsibilities
• Deliver functionality and business value to end users
• Deliver quality code and robust technical solutions
• Evaluate new frameworks, programming languages, technologies, 3rd-party solutions
• Strengthen the team by sharing knowledge and support others when needed
• Act as a role model in living our core values
Current Tech Stack
We believe that autonomous teams should be able to, within reason, use the tools they need, and that developers should not spend time juggling yaml manifests. As such we are constantly sharpening our internal developer platform to manage a lot of the tedious stuff, and in general, the teams have converged to a tech stack looking something like the below:
• Typescript
• PostgreSQL

• DBT
• Temporal.io

As System Developer, you are responsible for the design, development and continual improvement of software systems built to support the various needs of the Akind companies. You will also have the responsibility for deployment, monitoring and maintenance of production code. Furthermore, you are considered a full-stack developer with skills ranging from database, back-end to front-end. As a System Developer at Akind, you live our core values and put the team before the individual.
