hela Sverige Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
If you are a curious, driven system developer who likes responsibility, and are interested in developing the bus products of the future, then this is the job for you!
The group's responsibility is to develop and test embedded systems for bus body control.
Your tasks
The role entails that you as an engineer will develop software for various bus functions. Within the team we develop software for climate systems, doors, interior lighting, and more.
Scania's bus operations require that we act on short lead times and can handle customer adaptations of the bodywork software. To facilitate this, the team is responsible for our own software release process where we test and develop the software within the group. This means a broad range of tasks within the team and you will be given the opportunity to work with different roles in system development, for example developing test scripts, implementing code for body functions, writing function requirements and investigating future needs.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, is a curious problem solver and likes to work with system level development.
You are an engineer who is interested in preferably both electronics and software. Above all, you have the right attitude and thrive in solving problems. You have a good ability to form new contacts and you appreciate working in a team as well as on your own.
We expect you to have at least 3-5 years' experience in software development within embedded systems and experience in C / C ++. Experience of Simulink/MATLAB and Python is of merit.
