System Design Expert for Server platforms

About the position
We are currently looking for a System Design Expert for Server platforms responsible for system architecture and design work at our Kista office. This person will be responsible for traditional Carrier-Grade functionality (Upgrade, Redundancy, Reliability, Fault Tolerance, etc), Cloud Computing, Content delivery network, Operations and maintenance as well as Proof of concept/prototyping.
Qualifications and experience
To be successful in this role the candidate should have experience of Carrier-Grade platforms and/or applications, preferably with a well-known international telecommunication equipment vendor.
Experience of system architecture and design, low-level software and hardware, cloud computing, content delivery networks and UML modeling is required.
A Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required.
Skills requirements
Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred. As we are a global company the candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
Good communication, documentation and presentation skills. Excellent cooperation skills with a variety of people.
Location
This is a fulltime position at our R&D office in Kista, Stockholm, Sweden. Occasional business trips to China as needed.
