About This Opportunity:
Join our BCSS Core Networks Engineering (CNE) team as we build and operate a cutting-edge Software Production System (SPS). This system empowers Ericsson's R&D in 5G, 6G, and Cloud Native engineering with simple and stable environments, enabling every BCSS engineer to excel. SPS offers essential development and verification services, such as development clouds, telecom networks, and software pipelines, to boost engineering productivity.

As a pivotal part of our R&D strategy, 3PP Management-particularly in Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS)-empowers BCSS to lead in the industry by delivering innovative solutions at a controlled cost. We are committed to advancing this key area over the coming years, and we're looking for a talented individual to spearhead these efforts as our BCSS 3PP Management Architect.
In this dynamic role, you'll lead the design and systemization of architecture and solutions for 3PP Management, including FOSS and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products. You'll have the unique opportunity to collaborate with various programs and units within and beyond BCSS, using platform engineering, digital transformation, and AI tools to enhance our software engineering performance and efficiency.

What You Will Do:
Lead BCSS 3PP management convergent technical vision and strategy.
Collaborate with BCSS Product Development Units (PDUs) to identify common needs and opportunities for simplification.
Foster a collaborative model to engage PDUs in shaping the future of software compliance management.
Develop solutions that align with BCSS engineering strategies, integrating services from SAN, EIT, and in-house offerings.
Oversee architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and resilient compliance solutions.
Guard the preferred and mandatory tools to be used for 3PP Management in BCSS
Support strategic discussions and requirements for evolving compliance solutions.
Leverage AI and platform engineering to improve compliance solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.


The Skills You Bring:
Master's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
Over 10 years of experience in software development and R&D.
Strong understanding of Cloud Native development, including continuous design and deployment.
Expertise in FOSS and COTS management tools and processes.
Proven track record of leading technological and cultural changes in large organizations.
Excellent technical leadership aligned with Ericsson's core values.
Broad experience with Ericsson's product portfolio and an understanding of PDU needs.
Ability to inspire new ways of working and set high standards.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English.
