The Surface Designer creates high-quality digital 3D surface models used in the automotive design and product development process. Responsibilities include interpreting and defining the design intent of the Automotive or Industrial designer using Alias or IcemSurf software, while directly collaborating with studio engineering and engineering department. The 3D data is used to develop detailed appearance models, high-quality renderings, and production level surfaces used in tooling for manufacturing. Candidates must be deadline driven and possess problem solving, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Who are you?
As a candidate, you must exhibit a positive attitude and take pride in the quality of your work. You have a long experience of digital 3D modeling in the automotive business.You have an enthusiasm for 3D modeling and is very proficient in Alias or IcemSurf. An understanding of Catia (not modeling) is helpful.
Experience:At least 15 years, in class-A digital 3D modeling in Alias or IcemSurf required. Please submit resume (and possibly a portfolio).
