The Sweden Operations Asset Planner role spans the 3 - 24 month planning horizon and will be held accountable for the delivery of a number of core planning processes within the allocated brand portfolio, ensuring that mid to long-term supply is effectively balanced against demand. Further, the role will partner with the Global Supply Planner and be accountable for leading the execution of the agreed brand strategy within the above horizon. Acting as a primary Sweden Operations (Swe Ops) interface into the Global Supply Chain group, the role will also represent Swe Ops in the Global Product S&OP and lead the local Pre S&OP for their assigned externally sourced supply chains.
The role
The purpose of the Asset Planner role is to balance supply and demand on assigned assets, assuring customer service whilst optimising site capacity usage and inventory within the given supply chain tactical plan framework, fully representing the site's commitments to the global supply chain plan. Adhering to the AstraZeneca Code of Conduct and key global policies such as the Global Safety Health Environment Policy, Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption Policy and People Policy.
Minimum experience
• 3-5 years in Supply Chain Environment (Manufacturing, Planning)
• Advanced supply chain (capacity and inventory) planning skills
• Experience in managing and developing solutions for supply chain events
• Understanding of different supply methods (IRL, VMI/CMI, Flow, Kanban)
• Understanding of supply chain planning parameters, master data and master data integrity & quality
• Experience in collaboration with the key interfaces within the end to end supply chain, with manufacturing and between supply chain and commercial functions
• Excellent communications and collaboration skills required to manage a multitude of customers and stakeholders, both internal and external to AZ.
• Proficient in using key Lean Tools
Preferred experience/requirements
• Education requirements: A degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering is preferred, equivalent experience will be taken into account
• Experience in participating in the S&OP process
• Commercial experience is a plus
• SAP ERP (MRP) knowledge
