hela Sverige Our simulation team is growing and we are now looking for a Structural Analyst to join us at our global test center located in Hillerstorp. Being part of the simulation team is an exciting opportunity to work with world class products in a highly skilled environment. You will be able to follow and have an overview of the entire product 's development process, meaning that you will also have the chance to work with different analysis and disciplines, such as crash test and static analysis. This role offers you the possibility to work for a world leading company within its area. The Role
An important part of the role is to initially work in close relation with constructors and interact on how things are expected to be done before starting the simulations. You will be responsible to set up and execute simulation plans in the projects and through high-end structural simulations, secure the correct performance of the products that are developed. You are also expected to build your models and execute the analyses with input from the test department before simulations are made. Other responsibilities involved for you as a Structural Analyst, would be making recommendations and setting out conclusions in case something is in need to be done differently. There are several product categories and depending on your interest and profile, you will be able to specialize within a certain area, by no means that would exclude the rest of categories.
You will participate and work with two or more projects at the same time, having the need of handling them in the most efficient and effective pace. This also requires you to structure and prioritize your work. All departments at the test center collaborate and work closely, so your interaction with the test department will be very important being expected to provide recommendations based on your work and expertise. Knowledge of the products is a critical part as you need to understand what the products will be exposed to during test phases.
Your Profile

You need to develop a high level of understanding for our products and work with a proactive mindset towards the test engineers. The focus is always to deliver and it is required of you to be a structured and forward thinking person who enjoys taking initiatives. Your communication skills and cooperation with others need to be good as your recipients will be entire project teams and colleagues from different departments.
Preferably, you have a MSc in Mechanical Engineering and 1-2 years of relevant work experience. It is an additional merit if you have knowledge and/or experience of LS-DYNA, ANSA, MetaPost and/or LS-PrePost. Experience from the automotive industry is also a plus. Your English is fluent both spoken and written and if your Swedish is not fluent, then there must be a willingness to learn it.
