Description of the unit
Business Excellence (BE) is a newly established unit within Group Function Business Excellence and Common Functions. The objective of the unit is to support and enable Ericsson to speed up the transformation of the company to achieve superior business performance.
The wanted position related to Strategy Execution is Effectiveness and Consistency in driving strategic change and enabling improvements, thereby contributing to stronger financial performance.
The Strategy execution manager will be reporting to the Head of Strategy Execution.
The position is to be held in Stockholm to be close to the BE team and to minimize internal travel.
Job description
The role demands considerable flexibility in quickly adapting to shifting needs, and is expected to effectively cover a range of responsibilities, including:
• Coordinate and drive Ericsson?s Strategic Initiative portfolio across all units; identify gaps and overlaps, enable sharing and knowledge management,
Support Group Initiatives with BE embedded competence, methods and tools to enable success of those initiatives
• Support and improve execution success of BU, Region and Group strategic priorities and initiatives
• Secure alignment with and clear links to Ericsson Strategy development processes (e.g., development to execution, priorities to initiatives, execution plans, business cases and target setting)
• Drive establishment of Functional Area Business Excellence to enable competence build; define job roles, responsibilities, training curriculum, and support other units with assessments, dimensioning and competence development
• Develop, maintain and deploy Ericsson?s Strategy Execution approach; including training, Academy Space, and hands-on support to other Units
• Secure deployment of and adherence to Mandatory 6 in line with Strategy Execution directive
• Drive Business Excellence communities related to owned job roles, relevant Centers of Excellence, etc.
• Coordinate Ericsson?s improvement methodologies, as part of overall execution approach, to guide company on methods, tools, subject matter experts, best practices, etc;
• Build relevant assets and structures to enable effective execution across Ericsson; related to strategic, operational and continuous improvements
• Contribute to establishing all three disciplines of Business Excellence and strengthening BE capabilities across Ericsson, e.g., through facilitating Leadership Team workshops and coaching Strategy execution managers and BE Leaders around the world
We have high expectations on you as an individual, to bring a good combination of broad-based business, leadership, and functional experience:
Experience in change management discipline
Understanding of Finance and Strategy disciplines
Strong ability to work cross-functionally and to bring people together in alignment
Ability to influence senior stakeholders
5+ years? experience from Strategy/operational management consulting or similar experiences
Experience of large scale transformation programs
University degree, preferably MBA from leading institution
