Now we're looking for a Strategic Business controller who will also lead a Finance & Legal team, who wants to help us make a difference in the world.

About the job
In this Management role you will be part of the PureBallast Management team and not only provide financial leadership, but also challenge and contribute to the strategic and business development. You will lead a professional team, consisting of five direct reports within Finance, Legal and Project management.
Key responsibilities include:
* Perform business controlling including reporting, forecasting and analysis, making the numbers speak.
* Support Global Sales to ensure that the 5 years retrofit window of opportunity is maximized in each local market
* Responsible for review of major customer fleet contracts and to provide sales companies with guidance and directives
* Facilitate the development of the PureBallast strategic plan process, evaluate financial impact and provide management with insight of proposed initiatives.
* Identify, support and drive new business opportunities related to both our PureBallast product, as well as the development of other service products or revenue streams
* Act as the trusted advisor to the PureBallast head and management team
What you know
To succeed in this role, we believe that you need 5+ years of experience from a Business Controller role. Experience from working in a manufacturing environment is preferred. You have experience from working close to business development or sales processes.
You can formulate and understand business issues and significantly contribute to the management team tasks.
You are an action-oriented decision maker with a strong analytical and strategic business understanding.
You have strong leadership skills to clarify priorities and create ownership and accountability. You have experience from working in an international environment and you always work with integrity. You have the ability to quickly go to the core of the problem, recognizing irrelevant details and conveying complex information clearly.
