hela Sverige THE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT is a group within Stoneridge Electronics. We develop new and advanced products for our customers' future trucks, while continuously adapting our developments according to market and customer demands. Within the group we have electronics, software and mechanical engineering teams. Part of the development is made in-house and other parts are made in cooperation with external suppliers. We cover all development phases from concept study, detailed development, advanced engineering to industrialization and work with PPAP process according to ISO/TS standard. Stoneridge Product and Development department has global locations. Within Europe there is a close cooperation between our Swedish and Estonian sites, which share projects and involve in total about 130 development engineers.
We are now looking for a skilled system engineer who will:
• Work on system design of embedded systems for the automotive industry.
• Will involve working throughout the development process i.e. with system architecture, system design, requirement management and technical synchronization within the sub-disciplines electronics, software and mechanics.

• You have an engineering degree or equivalent
• You have several years of experience in electronics or software and system design and knowledge of development processes for embedded systems.
• Experience within the automotive industry is a merit but also experience from other industries with complex embedded systems.
To succeed in the role you are free of prestige and like to work towards common goals within our group and in the company. You enjoy working on a project basis and have good interpersonal skills. Good knowledge of English is a requirement. It is also important that you are a good communicator both with the customer and with your team.
