This role gives you a unique opportunity to challenge and to really drive change for the whole energy sector.
Job description
You will work in seamless cooperation across the whole St1 group, including our fuel supply company NEOT and other associated companies. The main focus of the cooperation is to ensure coordinated implementation of St1 Sustainability Program, accurate data collection and efficient sharing of guidelines and best practises along the St1 Value Chain. You will be a member of the Sustainability, Communications & Public affairs Business Unit and report directly to the Business Unit Lead.
Main assignment
* Managing St1 RESPECT-sustainability programme
* Developing sustainability work, implementing practices as well as turning sustainability into business opportunities
* Responsible for St1 sustainability reporting and following closely development of sustainability reporting guidelines and legislation
* Planning and executing communication activities related to St1's Sustainability Program (RESPECT)
This position is permanent, it involves travelling in the Nordics and beyond; and you may work at any of the St1 offices (Stockholm, Helsinki or Oslo).
Your Profile
The ideal candidate for this position has a strong background in Sustainability, preferably from a larger corporation, together with a relevant university degree. You have a good understanding in sustainability strategy and programs as well as sustainability reporting. In addition, you have excellent communication skills and capability to implement sustainability practices in the day-to day business. You are fluent in English and preferably also in Finnish or Swedish.
As a person, you are committed, solution-focused and positive. You have a proactive mindset, strong leadership skills and good organizational understanding. Your approach is structured, and you have an outstanding ability to see the overall picture without missing out on the details. In this position it will be highly important being able to lead without a formal organizational authority.
