hela Sverige Do you want a dynamic role and support SSAB's entities and managers with the long-term strategy and the continued development of processes in the organization? We are now looking for an Internal auditor focusing on internal control testing. Location is preferably Borlänge.
About the position
Working as an internal auditor includes tasks aimed at supporting SSAB in its continuous work with improvements and efficiency enhancements in business management, risk management and internal control. The primary purpose of Internal Audit is to act as an independent and objective resource that creates value for the Group by carrying out established audit plans and special audits in a methodical and systematic way, thus serving as internal messengers of SSAB's values and governing rules.
The main role in the vacant position is to participate in our testing of, the mainly financial, internal control process implemented in SSAB. This requires understanding of identifying risks, controlling or mitigating them and evaluation of evidence of taken actions. The results of the annual internal control testing are presented to management and to the external auditors.
As an internal auditor, you are also involved in the execution of internal audits, which includes everything from planning to follow-up. The position involves travels to our units around the world.
Your qualifications
For this position, minimum requirements are that you have an academic degree, BSa or MSa in business administration and experience from external auditing. Experience in work in accounting and / or internal control according to current regulations, such as IFRS and COSO, would also be a merit.
Also, good knowledge of English in speech and writing is a requirement since we work in an international environment and all our reports are written in English.
As a person, you are outgoing, trustworthy with high integrity and professional attitude. You have good self-knowledge and ability to work together and are a skilled communicator and presenter. Your work is structured, arranged and done, which constantly puts your analytical ability to the test. You are an open and ambitious person who likes variation in work and surroundings and who has a positive and driving attitude to challenges.
