This is the beginning of a transformation that can drive sustainability in ways we can only begin to imagine. Preferred location is Borlänge.

That is why we have developed the world's first fossil free steel production and has committed to becoming largely fossil-free by around 2030. As part of SSAB you will be instrumental in realizing this goal and push for the green transformation of the whole steel industry.
As Business Development Mobility Project Manager you will be a part of the Sales and Business Development organization and will play an important role in contributing to SSAB Europe 's ambitious growth targets within the mobility industry. You will be working in an international business environment with contacts to OEM 's and TIER 's globally. In your role you will also be heavily involved in our fossil free transition and our Nordic transformation plan. You will work cross functional with our colleagues in Sales, Technical Support, Product Management, Product Development, Knowledge Service Center, Marketing and Business Innovation & Market Intelligence.
The program will start in September/October. You will be well taken care of on the location that you will have your position. During the program of 14 months, you will be invited to physical meetings with the rest of the participants in the program to so called Basecamps. The Basecamps will include interesting topics that will support your kick start in the company, mill visits and other important things to support your understanding of SSAB in general and the challenging but oh so interesting journey that lies ahead. Besides the Basecamps you will get your very own senior mentor, and individual onboarding program connected to your specific position where you together with your mentor will plan for an individualized customized study trip to any of our SSAB Europe offices to suit you and your development in the best way possible. Beyond the activities related to the program, you will be placed in an actual position and already from the start be introduced to the assignments and tasks related to your position.
Main responsibilities
Participate in planning top OEM 's and TIER 's strategy
Capture new trends and technologies to align the sales strategy
Initiate, coordinate and lead projects in the concept and engineering phase in close
corporation with key customers
Monitor OEM new model and platform launches/announcements and their top tier suppliers
Work with OEM qualification
Conduct Seminar and webinars, both internally and externally
Explore new applications looking into future product capabilities
About you
You should recently have graduated with a Bachelor or Masters degree in mechanical engineering or material science. Recently graduated: maximum 24 months since graduation counted from the start of the program
Solid English skill
Solid knowledge in the local language for the location you are applying to
