Within our Purchasing department, our experienced and well-established team of tactical and operational purchasers ensure the procurement of services, material and goods needed for production within our global network. We continuously work to identify new ways to improve the efficiency and profitability for the business and we're now looking for a Sourcing Manager - an inspiring leader who sees everyone's personal strengths and has a passion for building a strong and competent team.
Your mission
In this position, you plan, direct and monitor all sourcing activities. You take responsibility for the whole sourcing process, from the initial stages to completion, and you identify and evaluate opportunities to reduce costs by improving the organization's patterns and supply channels. With your excellent stakeholder management skills and a strategic mindset, you know where to get hold of information to improve our sourcing related matters and you naturally move and interact in relevant forums. In an uplifting and energetic way, you lead and develop your team and inspire them to always work towards continuous improvements and to meet established targets and standards.
The location for this position is Fagersta and some travel occurs.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with solid experience from a leading position within purchasing or sales - if not as a manager you may have gained your leadership skills by acting as a team leader. Your genuine interest in people and passion for coaching make you a perfect fit for this role. Acting in a truly global environment and being based locally calls for fluency in English and Swedish, verbally and in writing.
Your social features and networking skills enables you to easily build strong and trusting relationships at all levels, always keeping the business in mind. You have a personal drive and thrives in an environment where you get to merge people and help them work together. With your natural empathy for others and a clear way of communicating you have the ability to see things from different perspectives.
