hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Quickspin AB i Stockholm Quickspin is an award-winning game studio, producing online video slot machines for the gambling and social gaming audience. We are now looking for a creative sound designer with excellent technical skills to join our team in Stockholm.
Qualifications and Experience
• 4+ years of experience creating music and sound for games (slot games/mobile games/game industry or music industry)
• Fluent in industry-standard software and plugins, preferably Nuendo/Cubase as main DAW
• Strong knowledge of audio recording practices (EQ, Compression etc.)
• Excellent understanding of game audio production
• Excellent aesthetic and understanding of multiple genres, and styles of music
• Excellent understanding of sound effect creation, layering and processing techniques
• A 'can do' attitude
• Strong organizational skills, documentation, verbal communication and accurate time estimation skills
Nice to have
• Previous experience within iGaming or Casino industry
• Guitar: professional or semi-professional level
• Microphone techniques / recording experience
• Scripting/Programming experience
Who are you and what do we offer
We are looking for a Sound Designer, who will be part of our Audio team.
We consider the sound designer to be a crucial member of our game
teams, taking part in the production process from the very beginning, until the very end. You are expected to drive the sound vision of our games together with the Producers and the Audio Director.
You will need to produce ideas, find references, communicating style and feeling through
quick concepts, compose music, and produce music and sounds at a professional level that will truly enhance the gaming experience. All done through an iterative process with tight communication between producers and game teams.
We also intend the Sound Designer to "get into the code", meaning implementing and updating sounds in game during development. Besides that, the Sound Designer should help evolve the sound creation and implementation process from a technical point of view.
