The role is a part of our passionate Enterprise Data Management team based in Stockholm. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing and ramping up data solutions and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.
About the job
The Solution Architect/Data Engineer is a multifaceted role combining expertise in data governance, architecture, engineering, business analysis, and product management. The role is responsible for the agile implementation, development and maintenance of Northvolt's Data Management platform, while leading technical solutions to improve the quality of business-critical data available in business systems.
About the team
The Enterprise Data Management team is responsible for defining the strategy, framework and processes for implementing and improving Data Governance, Data Architecture and Data Quality for Master Data domains (initially).
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and lead the technical execution of the data management platform roadmap
Develop and maintain harmonised master data and develop, build, configure, unit test, and implement data solutions based on lower level designs within the data infrastructure
Implement, develop and maintain data catalog, data quality, master data management, and data governance solutions
Lead initiatives to improve data quality across all master data source and target systems
Constantly monitor, refine, and report on the performance of data management system
Help business units to define, organize and categorize data and document associated business rules
Establish and maintain data management and governance best practices
Develop best practices to ensure the ongoing consistency of data models and verify their relationship to ever-changing business operations
Skills & Requirements
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics or equivalent education
5 years of experience in master data management, data governance or related field
Experience in designing solutions using Ataccama ONE platform
Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modelling and data integration
Ability to develop and implement azure synapse, data lake and SQL logics
Knowledge of azure cloud
Knowledge of data visualization, reporting and analytical tools
Experience and interest in manufacturing industry is an advantage
