Job Summary:
• Manages all Software Testing resources within the AE TnPO Sweden organisation
• Manages operationally resources on both Swedish sites (Braas & Eskilstuna)
• Main point of contact to other local Technology departments - (e.g. Technology Platform, Verification & Validation etc) to address project requirements & ensure high-quality and "on-time" delivery by adhering to "state of the art" processes using appropriate resources & tools
• Supports & provides management oversight to all Software Testing projects - planned & executed in AE - TnPO Sweden organisation
• Works with Manager, Global Software Testing to define & implement a test strategy to address software testing project requirements in Sweden. Also Implements global initiatives related to Software Testing processes & methodology locally
• Supports the TnPO Global SW Testing manager in defining & implementing industry-standard governance models & processes across all software testing projects in Sweden
This person needs to be comfortable and efficient dealing with testing teams & project stakeholders, has previous knowledge within the arena of software development & testing; Has previous experience in leading software testing projects
Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:
• Manages operational "end-to-end" delivery of software to Technology projects within Sweden.
• Ensures all projects are adequately covered with resources at all times.
• Participates & provides operational leadership in complete life-cycle of all software testing (SW) projects in Sweden - Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Environment / Data Management, Test Execution, Defect Reporting, Test Summary / Closures, Project Governance reports & meetings
• Provides first line of management responsibility to all Software Test Engineers, Test Rig Developers & consultant staff working within Software Testing projects in Sweden.
• Supports global guidelines as defined by AE management
Key Skills:
• Previous management/leadership experience in Software field is necessary. Experience in team development is also an advantage.
• Ability & experience in understanding business & software functional requirements; Experienced in writing Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases & De-bugging in Test Rigs
• Must have experience in using Software embedded tools - Lab VIEW / Test Stand, MATLAB, Simulink & analyzing tools
• Excellent inter-personal & communication skills
