hela Sverige We are developing our third generation Android smartphone mainly targeting healthcare users and solutions. We work close with both customers and development partners globally. We are about 30 software developers targeting our Android smartphones and the core team is located in Gothenburg.
Now there is an opportunity to take on the role of Software Project & Team Manager for this team.
Work tasks
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Manage software sub-project as a part of a full scale project for new Android smartphones.
• Manage functionality growth on released Android smartphones using agile methods.
• To follow and improve processes e.g. initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing of projects.
• To ensure that the project/release accomplishing the objectives.
• To synchronize and collaborate with other projects, agile teams and departments.
• Work with vendors/partners and meet them in person from time to time in e.g. China.
• Manage technology/innovation projects at R&D
• Keep well informed and apply suitable software development methodology, processes and tools.
• Be an inspirational leader for the team.
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science or equivalent
• Fluent in Swedish and English, speech and writing
• Very good communication skills.
• Able to motivate and inspire others
• Able to drive a team towards a defined goal
• Knowledge of software development methodologies e.g. Agile/Scrum
• Experience as software developer
• Experience of leading teams e.g. Scrum master
Meritorious
• Project management certifications e.g. PMP
• Project management experience
• Software development methodology certifications e.g. SAFe
• Android knowledge
You probably have a background as a software developer that followed by a Scrum master, Team leader, Project manager role or similar. You have been working for at least 5 years. You enjoy helping a team perform and you know how to coach people to overcome challenges and solve problems. You cherish your developer background and execute on technical details when necessary while maintaining the big picture of the project/release. You continuously work on you own personal development as well as encourage the team to learn and incorporate best practices.
