We constantly need to increase our capacity to support and improve our products on the market. We are therefore now looking for a Software Engineer to our Product Concepts & New Ideas Team.
What will you do?
In this role, you will be an important member in a cross functional team, generating product concepts and new ideas for future network video products. You will do early prototyping and proof of concepts as well as evaluation of new and emerging technologies to understand potential new applications in new products.
Who are we looking for?
We believe you have a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar. You have several years (>5) of valid work experience and you have a genuine technical interest and curiosity. You are fluent in English, both verbally and written.
You have experience in development of embedded Linux systems and low-level programming, device drivers, etc.. Knowledge in FPGA programming or hardware design is a distinct advantage.
As a person, we believe you have a creative mind-set with the ability to switch between “the big picture†and small details. You are a team player and like to share your work and ideas with others.
The team
Product Concepts & New Ideas (PCNI) is an important complement to Axis long term core technology development.
PCNI’s mission is to develop within the area of new video products through creation and exploitation of new ideas for future products and features beyond the scope of the existing product roadmap.
